Avioni Carpets product range includes shaggy carpets, wool area rugs, hand knotted modern rugs, wool felted carpets, jute and chindi braided area rugs and Persian rugs, come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
This Carpet Size Guide briefly tries to give our customers an idea of the size of Carpet that would best suit your requirements.
In addition to round rugs, our Rugs come in four different rectangular sizes, though you can always request a customized size. The four sizes (all in feet) are 3 X 5, 4 X 6, 5 X 7, 6 X 9
A key consideration to choose the right size is to know how you want to use it. Some people prefer the carpet to cover the space just around the center table. The carpet edges may or may not be touching the sofas. This works great if you have sectional sofas or if you have set a single sofa plus other seating options. Other people prefer the carpet to cover most of the sofa sets area i.e. the sofas partially or fully come on the area rug.
The 3 feet X 5 feet carpet is good for a four seater combination. You could use the 3X5 on larger settings if you have a wooden, marble flooring by putting it underneath a coffee or drawing room table. Either way would contribute to a modern and contemporary look for your living room.
The 4 feet X 6 feet Carpet can be good for a five-seater combination. Again, you may use it for a seven seater combination (3+2+2) too, but in this combination, the carpet would cover the central area and there would be some empty space between the sofa and the shag carpet.

Redefine you room décor with a bed runner or a bed rug

A bed runner or rug is an item that could be considered luxury or non-essential by some people but if you give it a bit of a thought, it may be a very sensible addition to your bedroom. You could start of by putting a rug, runner or durrie on any side of your bed to give it definition and add a cozy color to your room.
Bed runners, rugs or carpets are different in that you can use your own free expression in your private den unlike rooms like the living room or kitchen which have to be designed conservatively for entertaining guests. The bedroom is your space and you can design it any way you feel; it’s your kingdom and you have the decision to decide the material, texture, design and style.
As mentioned above, a few things to take into consideration while choosing bed rugs or runners for your room are style, color and design, but don't forget about functionality too. You may want it on the side of the bed you get out of each morning, or you may want to place it at the foot of the bed to cover a vacant spot or both!
If you choose a bed runner on the side and if it’s a soft material like chenille or shaggy runner, then you guarantee to start your day with having your first step on something warm and soft. Also if you choose a larger rug or durrie, you could throw some cushions around and could lie on it and relax and read a book while drinking your coffee.
There are other places in the bedroom where a runner or rug would look great. You can add a matching rug to your dresser or put it in your walk in wardrobe. This can greatly enhance the quality of the time that you spend while dressing up.

The good thing with these rugs or durries as they are not as costly as some branded carpets and can be easily replaced. Due to this, it allows a liberty to change them if and when they wear out or if you want to make a quick and easy change to the look of your bedroom without hurting your pocket.

Home Interior Design Ideas: Enhancing your home décor by selecting the right curtains

Choosing curtains is a key decision to shape the decor of your home. Curtains help homes interiors look refined and feel comfy. It is thus necessary that we offer serious thought and make a proper decision before selecting the curtains for our homes. There are a large variety to choose for all home décor furnishing products including curtains; some of the key things to consider while selecting curtains are purpose, fabric, color, cost, size and durability of the curtain.
You can select the fabric depending on the purpose you would like the curtain for. There are materials that offer shade and help to retain heat or coolness; equally, there are curtains, principally with linings, that block light and keep your room dark for sleep when required. Having curtains that block light and warmth within the summer, or keep the chilliness away in the winter will also help reduce heating or cooling costs. Another key issue is dirt; it'd would be better to settle for curtains, which are easy to wash.
Apart from texture, another necessary factor to contemplate once you are selecting curtains is color and style. Color scheme or combination plays an awfully big role in choosing the right curtains for your house.  If colors, textures or patterns clash, they'll not make a style statement and whole interior design scheme would look disconnected. It would be sensible to consider the combination in mind before selecting curtains and then once your have an idea to go and buy them.
If your have large vacant spaces, it would be good to have curtains with a prominent designs to fill in the space; similarly, if you have kids and the interior is generally cluttered, the best is to have plain curtains; self-embossed, textured or small light prints will also work great but if the curtain has complicated bold prints, it will add to the clutter.
The choice of curtain would also be influenced by the room wherever the curtains would be placed. A kids room might have curtains with cartoon characters whereas an adults sleeping room might have a no nonsense curtain that matches the color preference of the person.
You should measure the size of the window before ordering or purchasing curtains; you may want the curtains to be longer than the window or hitting the floors; also you have to factor in a length which will allow them to be fitted in at the top. For width, you have to decide how full you want them to appear; as a thumb rule, you could take 1.5-2 times the width of the window.
You could also consider curtain accessories like matching color curtain tie backs, which are not very costly but when used, can greatly enhance the look of your room

Of course, a key thing to consider while deciding on curtains is price. As there are a wide variety of choices in curtains, it would not be difficult to get a choice of curtains that meet your price.
